RACIAL JUSTICE

Never before would I have considered adding a racial justice page to my campaign website.

Shame on me.

This reality highlights the work we all need to do before we hope to dismantle a system that has kept us from thriving as a society.  I pledge to do better.

My door is always open if you would like to speak honestly about issues of race.  However, know that I am coming from a perspective of lived experience and not an academic perspective.  Know that I only speak for myself and not every Black person.  I will also hope that you have done your own homework before you are in touch so that our conversation is the most meaningful and productive.

Everyone has been clamoring for resources so I have shared many readings, podcasts, and other information below.

Thank you for reading this page.  That tells me we are moving in the right direction.
